A leather tote made from vegetable-tanned cow hide in British Tan. Hand sewn. Straps are made from horse reins and fastened with rivets in an antique brass finish.
 
Measures approximately 15” wide 11” tall, with a 9” strap drop. Exterior pocket measures 9” wide, interior pocket measures 4 1/2” wide.
 
This bag has been conditioned with a lanolin, beeswax and avocado oil conditioner, giving it a waxy feel and a strong protective coating. Our bags begin as raw beef hides from farmers and butchers in Vermont's Champlain Valley. Hides are transformed into leather using environmentally sound processes and chestnut-based solutions by the Meyer Family in New York State, who have passed their tanning traditions down over the past 400 years.
